Toulouse, France, In Acrylic
So yes, this was painted during my “Van Gogh” phase, circa 2005. Albeit abstract, pictured is Le Pont Neuf, literally, The New Bridge (construction completed in the early 17th century), over The Seine River in Toulouse, the south of France. Also pictured, Basilica of St. Sernin. Fun/Random fact – Nicknames: due to the majority of buildings made from terracotta, Toulouse’s nickname is La Ville Rose, or The Pink City. Also known as The City of Light, due to the many illuminated buildings… at night. 1.5″x 24″x 36″ Acrylic on canvas.
